What does Salary Intelligence estimate?
It shows what freshers in your target roles are being offered: a salary range and a central estimate for each role, taken from comparable reported entry-level offers. CTC and base salary are shown separately, along with the skills the role asks for that your profile doesn't show yet.

Yes. You can upload your resume and get your first salary report without creating an account.
Who is the salary estimate for?
It is built for freshers and early-career candidates: final-year students, recent graduates and people with little full-time experience who want to know what entry-level offers look like for the roles they are applying for.
Where do the salary figures come from?
Each range is taken from comparable reported entry-level offers for the same role, and for the location you choose when there is enough data. The report shows how many offers it is based on. Nothing is made up to fill gaps: when data is limited, the report says so.
What is the difference between CTC and base salary?
CTC is the total yearly cost to the company, which can include bonuses, benefits and other components. Base salary is the fixed pay. The report shows them separately. Base salary appears only when enough offers report both, and then both figures come from those same offers; base is never worked out from CTC.
Which resume formats are supported?
Upload a PDF, DOC or DOCX file up to 5 MB. Scanned or image-only resumes often cannot be read; a PDF exported from Word or Google Docs works best.
Is the estimate a guaranteed salary?
No. It is an estimate based on the market data available to us. Actual offers can differ depending on the company, location, interviews and how the offer is structured. The report is not an offer or a guarantee of pay.
What happens to my resume?
We read the file once to find your education, skills, projects and experience; the file itself is not kept. The details are saved for your browser, or to your account if you are signed in, so you can check them and see your report. Details saved only for a browser are deleted after 180 days without changes. Reports are kept for 180 days. Your resume details are not used to train or calibrate salary models, and reports show no contact details.
